Alex is an inquisitive developer with the mindset that simplicity over complexity is often the best approach until proven otherwise. Working in the robotics and mobility industry for the past several years has helped Alex understand how to design real-time distributed systems developed through the lens of scalability, extensibility, and maintainability. He's ardent about software accessibility and usability with a belief that technology should be as inclusive as possible.
Alex obtained an AS in Web Development from Washtenaw Community College in addition to a BS in Technology Management from Eastern Michigan University. Outside of his contributions to Savas Labs, he can be found teaching web development courses at Washtenaw, tinkering with microcontrollers, honing his leatherworking skills, and hanging out with his English Bulldogs.
