We use AI tools extensively in our work—not just for clients, but in how we operate internally. We're hiring a Digital Marketing Associate to support our marketing and operational efforts—helping us create content, grow our visibility, tell our story consistently across channels, and keep our internal operations running smoothly.
About the Role
The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and comfortable with both writing and visual content. You're someone who can take a content idea from draft to published, maintain consistent brand voice, and keep marketing projects moving forward.
This role is primarily about content creation, consistency, and visibility—but it also includes supporting day-to-day operations and administration. You'll handle a mix of blog content, case studies, email marketing, social media, and general team support. As the role evolves, the balance between marketing and operational work may shift based on team needs.

What You'll Do
Content Creation & Publishing
- Write, edit, and publish blog posts, case studies, and thought leadership content—using our AI-assisted content pipeline (multi-model scaffolding, drafting, enrichment, and critique workflows)
- Coordinate with developers, designers, and project managers to produce accurate technical content and case studies
- Create and schedule social media content (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, etc.)
- Draft and send our email newsletter ("Applied Intelligence") via HubSpot, including project highlights, AI insights, and company news
- Repurpose and distribute content across multiple channels
- Help produce demo videos and screen recordings showcasing our tools and client work
- Help maintain and improve our content production templates and workflows
Proposal & Sales Support
- Prepare case studies and project write-ups for use in active proposals and RFPs
- Create or update proposal graphics and supporting content on tight timelines
- Ensure recent client work is showcased and up to date on the website
- Support prospect outreach by helping prepare personalized content for high-value contacts using our outreach templates and CRM data
Website & CMS Management
- Publish and update content on savaslabs.com
- Maintain the newsletter archive and portfolio/case study pages
- Coordinate with the development team on any content-related site updates
Marketing Operations
- Maintain the content calendar and publishing schedule
- Manage the full distribution checklist for content (website, LinkedIn, newsletter, Slack communities, Buffer, etc.)
- Organize and manage marketing assets (images, templates, brand materials)
- Track marketing metrics and compile basic reports
- Manage email lists, contacts, and prospect segmentation in HubSpot
- Research and submit award applications (Clutch, WebAward, etc.) and promote wins
Brand & Visual Support
- Create graphics for social media, blog posts, and newsletters (Canva, Figma)
- Generate images using AI tools following our brand kit and style guidelines
- Ensure brand consistency across all published materials
- Basic video editing for company content
AI Tools & Workflow
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) as part of your daily content workflow: ideating, quality assurance, research, image generation
- Stay current on AI tools and suggest new ones that could improve our processes
Research & Ideas
- Monitor industry trends and competitor content, especially in AI, app design, development, and digital strategy
- Surface content ideas based on company projects and internal AI tools we're building
- Help identify opportunities for visibility (guest posts, speaking, partnerships, events)
- Track and organize our content idea pipeline from ideation through publication
- Research SEO and emerging areas like GEO/AEO (Generative Engine Optimization / Answer Engine Optimization) to keep our content strategy current, and help advise our clients
Administrative & Operational Support
- Help with scheduling, meeting coordination, and internal communications
- Assist with organizing team documents and shared resources
- Support onboarding tasks and internal process documentation
- Provide general administrative support to leadership as needed
- Help manage project management tools (Teamwork) and track task progress
About You
You are:
- A strong writer with attention to detail
- Comfortable creating content across multiple formats
- Organized and able to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
- Proactive—you pitch ideas and don't wait to be told what to do
- Adaptable—comfortable wearing different hats as the team needs
- Excited about AI—you already use ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools, or you're eager to make leverage their power while keeping our presence human-centric
- Familiar with how B2B/agency marketing works (or eager to learn)
You should be comfortable:
- Writing in a professional but approachable tone
- Writing about technical topics (AI, web development) for non-technical audiences
- Coordinating across teams to gather input for content (working with developers, designers, and PMs)
- Working independently with periodic check-ins
- Learning new tools quickly
Experience with the following is helpful but not required:
- AI writing and productivity tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity)
- AI image generation (Midjourney, DALL-E, or similar)
- Social media management and scheduling tools (Buffer, LinkedIn)
- Email marketing platforms (HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar)
- Basic graphic design (Canva, Figma)
- CMS platforms (Historic: WordPress, Drupal, Craft and AI-native: Sanity, Strapi, Contentful)
- Google Analytics or basic marketing metrics
- Project management tools (Teamwork, Asana, Monday.com or similar)
Bonus points for:
- Experience in a digital agency or professional services environment
- Familiarity with tech/web development topics (AI, app development, open source)
- Understanding of SEO and interest in emerging areas like GEO/AEO
- Experience using AI tools (e.g. Claude Code, ChatGPT)
- Writing samples or portfolio you can share
- Video editing or screen recording experience
- Experience with HubSpot (CRM, email, contact management)
- Experience with administrative or operations support
Requirements
- Strong written English (required)
- 20 hours/week availability
- Must work within US PST–EST business hours
- Reliable internet and ability to work remotely
Structure
- Contractor role (part-time, 20 hours/week)
